Destruction

Only to touch the sky,

And hold the sun in my hand.

The fresh smell of smoldering flesh,

Would pervade the polluted air,

Of the pathetic earth.

And the rotting bodies shriek,

While maggots tear at their flesh.

A mother’s foot

Shall fall upon a roach,

She will smile at the sound of the body

Crunching beneath the massive weight,

When nearby,

Her child dies.

This planet reeks with the smell

Of those once loved,

All forgotten,

As death approaches our own.

We drown in other’s blood.

The framework falls,

The buildings collapse.

Daisies die

While weeds grow higher and higher.

No more sunlight,

They have taken over.

Evil conquers,

Killing all things good,

Never to change.

We have created our own hell.

We cry peace

With destruction and war our own products.

The fish drown in the sea

While flies fornicate on our lunch.

The disease is spread.

We made our own bed,

And we must die in it.

URRAHAHAHAHA!

The beast laughs.

What craziness you speak!

You actually think we can change?

We are imprisoned in our own madness,

And nothing can be done.
